FanMilk recalls 28 batches of FanYogo due to texture concerns

FanMilk, a leading dairy company in Ghana, has issued a recall for 28 batches of its popular FanYogo product following consumer complaints about the poor texture.

While the company assures consumers that the products are safe to consume, it acknowledges that the recalled batches do not meet its usual high standards.

The specific batch numbers subject to the recall are as follows: 011023022, 011023120, 011223664, 031123385, 031123408, 031123414, 031123429, 031123438, 051123442, 061123453, 141023223, 161123572, 181123530, 181123537, 181123587, 231123590, 231123596, 231123625, 231123890, 251123611, 251123611, 251123614, 251123616, 251123622, 251123628, 261123633, 261123635, 261123636, and 261123638.

In a statement, FanMilk expressed its commitment to addressing the issue and preventing its recurrence. The company’s laboratory experts have conducted comprehensive tests on the recalled batches to investigate the cause of the problem. FanMilk attributed the recent quality issue to a change in starch sourcing and variations in handling.

The company is in close communication with the (FDA) regarding the matter and is working collaboratively to resolve it.

Vendors have been instructed to return any FanYogo products with the specified batch numbers to designated FanMilk depots, namely Anointed Steve Enterprise (), Dapaduk Ventures (), Eve-Asa Company Limited (Kasoa), Bubbles Ladies Gh. Limited (Spintex), and Little Stars Delight (Kwabenya).

FanMilk expressed regret for any inconvenience caused and appreciated the patience of its customers during this process.

The company reassured consumers of its dedication and commitment to restoring the exceptional FanYogo experience they have come to love.

It is advised that individuals who have purchased FanYogo products with the mentioned batch numbers to promptly return them to the designated depots for a resolution.
