Quick Credit announces end to house-to-house loan recovery operations: Ghana News

In a pivotal announcement, Richard Nii Armah Quaye, Founder and Board Chairman of Quick Credit, declared the cessation of the company's house-to-house loan recovery operations.

The decision, revealed during Quick Credit's annual gathering at the Conference Center in on Sunday, is a response to feedback from various stakeholders.

Mr. Quaye stated, “Over the past year, we've received numerous feedbacks from our customers, the general public, and our regulator, on our activities on the field…. I am thrilled to announce that we have taken a decision to dissolve the house-to-house recovery department of the company. We will no longer be visiting clients for recovery ever again.”

The company had been under scrutiny in recent times due to the conduct of its loan recovery officers.

Notably, in August of last year, four Quick Credit officers from the branch were fined GH₵3,600 each by the for allegedly causing harm to a security officer.

The decision to halt house-to-house recovery operations is anticipated to improve relations between Quick Credit and its clientele.
